Invited presentation Winvorm-event in Brugge, Belgium
October 15, Merel Enserink presented at the Winvorm-event “Energie in de maak”, in Brugge (Belgium). Winvorm is an initiative of the Vlaams Bouwmeester, intercommunales Leiedal and WVI, the Province West-Flanders and the Vlaamse Landmaatschappij. They frequently organize lectures to enhance the spatial quality in West-Flanders. Merel gave an introduction on the impact of the energy transition on the landscape, titled “Energy Transition and Spatial Quality”. The lecture included an overview of spatial implications of the energy transition, the approach that The Netherlands chose to cope with this challenge and it gave inspiration on how to design with energy. The Winvorm-lecture was a nice opportunity to exchange knowledge, experience and ideas about the energy transition between Flanders and The Netherlands.
