Invitation for PECSRL 2014
Recently, Dirk and Sven were invited to present some work of the NRGlab at the Permanent European Conference on the Study of Rural Landscapes (PECSRL). This conference will be held from 8– 12 September 2014 in Gotheborg and Marienstad (Sweden). They will participate in a session titled Unraveling the Logics of Renewable Energy Landscapes organized by Kira Gee.
The invitation followed the submission of a conference abstract on the process and findings of the PALET project. Aim of the project was to investigate the potentials for energy savings and provision of renewable energy in Parkstad Limburg, ultimately leading to a concrete, realistic and accepted ambition. The PECSRL presentation will focus on research techniques that were used to inform local stakeholders in the transition towards sustainable energy landscapes.
